THE OLD GRAY ☑️
Racing in Monterey, Tennessee, this was XC1 rider, Jordan Ashburn’s, home race! He had a great day out on track and battled at the front for the win all day and came away with second. Congrats, Jordan!
Open A rider, Cole Whitmer, also brought home a second place. Great job, Cole!
XC1 rider, Ryder Lafferty experienced bike trouble at this weekends race and only completed 3 laps.
Lane Whitmer took a tumble before completing lap 1, ending with broken ribs and a hurt shoulder. Get well soon, Lane!
Shawn Remington finished in 6th place this weekend. #Coastalracing 🏁

RACE RECAP
Yesterday’s GNCC race was sunny and windy and brought forward some tough challenges. XC1 riders, Ryder Lafferty and Jordan Ashburn, finished 6th and 7th place, respectively, in class.
250A rider, Lane Whitmer, finished in 6th place in his class. And Cole Whitmer, riding Open A, finished 3rd!
On Sunday morning, Shawn Remington finished 3rd in Super Senior A. #Coastalracing🏁

GEORGIA RECAP Just like last year, it was a mudder

GEORGIA RECAP
Just like last year, it was a mudder in Washington, Georgia, for round 3 of GNCC racing with rain throughout the week and on Friday. The sun came out for Sundays race and with it came great results for our riders. Jordan Ashburn captured second place in XC1 Pro, great job Jordan! And Ryder Lafferty finished the race in 12th place.
Cole Whitmer grabbed the win in Open A! Congrats, Cole! 👏🏼
And Lane Whitmer finished 4th in 250A!
Super Senior A rider, Shawn Remington, was able to grab a 3rd place finish in his class. Great job this weekend team, now onto the next! #Coastalracing 🏁

Florida’s afternoon race was full of rain and sunshine as @jashburn3 got a good jump off the line and into the woods. He had a good race day and finished 4th in XC1 Pro. @ryder_lafferty crossed the finish line for 9th place.
@lanewhitmer587 had a good race and grabbed 3rd place in 250A!
@colewhit518 also finished 3rd in OpenA! 👏🏼

Yesterday’s race was @jashburn3’s first with Coastal Gasgas Factory Racing and he finished strong with a 4th place in XC1. @ryder_lafferty, racing his first full season in XC1, had an up and down day finishing 11th in class.
@colewhit518, racing in Open A this season, finished the race in 2nd place! 👏🏼
Racing under #24 this season and in the 250A class, @lanewhitmer587 crossed the line for 5th place.
@shawn.remington finished in 3rd yesterday in Super Senior A. Round 2 of GNCC racing takes place in Florida on March 3rd!

Introducing the 2024 Coastal Gasgas Factory Racing Team, please welcome XC1 racer Jordan Ashburn (@jashburn7) to the team! Jordan will be racing the GNCC series for the 2024 season, with the addition of some US Hard Enduro races. Returning for 2024 is Ryder Lafferty (@ryder_lafferty), racing the XC1 class for the 2024 GNCC season and the Pro1 class in the NEPG enduro series.

At this past weekend’s GNCC banquet, @talon.hawk

At this past weekend’s GNCC banquet, @talon.hawk was awarded the #1 National Champion plate in the eMTB XC2 class! To his surprise, he was also awarded the 2023 Amateur Rider of the Year! Congrats, Talon, on all your achievements! Riders Thad Duvall, Ryder Lafferty, Cole Whitmer, Lane Whitmer, and Shawn Remington were also honored at the annual banquet in each of their respective classes. Congratulations on a great year, everyone! We can’t wait for next year!
