Just like that the 2023 GNCC season is complete!

Just like that the 2023 GNCC season is complete!
@thaddy989 returned to racing after an injury earlier this season. Starting in XC1, Thad rode wheel to wheel at the front with the leaders until lap 3 when he pulled off for reasons relating to his injury.
Ryder Lafferty completed one lap in the XC1 class before pulling off due to an injury he sustained last race.
@colewhit518, racing Open A, won his class! Congrats, Cole!
@lanewhitmer587 finished his race with a 7th place in 250A and 27th overall. He says the last three laps of racing were good but he gave up the lead early.
@shawn.remington finished his season with a 2nd place in Super Senior A!

Last weekend, @talon.hawk raced the XC1 Pro eMTB c

Last weekend, @talon.hawk raced the XC1 Pro eMTB class for the first time after winning the XC2 championship at the last round. He had a great race and finished 5th in class! Talon plans to race XC1 Pro again in the last round of eMTB racing on October 20th in Crawfordsville, Indiana!

ROUND 11: Buckwheat 100 🌾
At yesterdays race in Newburg, West Virginia, @ryder_lafferty, moved up to race the XC1 Pro class. He had a great race riding up front until a crash just a mile from the finish which caused a bike issue and saw Ryder finish 7th in class and overall.
@lanewhitmer587 had a strong ride, finishing 5th in 250A.
Racing in Open A, @colewhit518 saw himself finish in second place!
Super Senior A rider, @shawn.remington, finished 4th at this weekends race.
Great job this weekend, boys!

Round 8 of @nepgenduro racing, MUDDOBBERS NATIONAL

Round 8 of @nepgenduro racing, MUDDOBBERS NATIONAL 💥 Ryder Lafferty, Cole Whitmer, and Lane Whitmer headed to Mathews, Indiana for the Muddobbers National. @ryder_lafferty had a tough day and some lingering issues that slowed him down on track, he finished 7th in class in the NE Pro 1 class. @colewhit518 and @lanewhitmer587 had another good day on track finishing P2 and P3 respectively, in the AA class. Coastal GASGAS Factory Racing team manager, Barry

Coastal GASGAS Factory Racing team manager, Barry Hawk, was inducted into the AMA Hall Of Fame last week in the Class of 2023. Barry won 7 consecutive quad championships from 1993 to 1999. For the 1998 and 1999 season Barry raced the pro quad race on Saturday and the pro bike race on Sunday, a feat still unmatched to this day. He made the full time switch to motorcycles in the year 2000 and got his first overall win in 2001. In 2003, he won the GNCC Pro bike championship, making him the first and only rider to win GNCC championships on both a quad and bike. From 2011 to 2015 he remained in the industry as part of the GNCC track crew. In 2016, he picked up his current role of team manager for the Coastal GASGAS Factory racing team, mentoring and managing the riders of today. Congratulations on all your achievements, Barry, and your induction into the Hall of Fame!

Congratulations to eMTB rider, Talon Hawk, for cap

Congratulations to eMTB rider, Talon Hawk, for capturing the XC2 class title this year! Way to go, @talon.hawk! 🔥🔥 Last weekends, The Mountaineer, featured an eMTB doubleheader on Friday and Saturday. Friday featured a great race for Talon, where he led most of it but snapped his chain about a mile from the finish. With a margin over second place, Talon was able to push his bike all the way to the finish and crossed the line for his 4th win of the season.
Saturday’s race was much smoother, with Talon winning his 5th straight race and capturing this year’s championship. Keep up the great work, Talon, we can’t wait to see what’s next for you! #Coastalracing🏁 📸 @mackfaint

Coastal Gasgas Factory Racing returned to racing t

Coastal Gasgas Factory Racing returned to racing this weekend at The Mountaineer in Beckley, West Virginia for round 10 of GNCC racing!
Sunday saw a lot of rain before and during the race causing difficult and muddy conditions. XC2 rider, Ryder Lafferty, was forced to DNF due to mechanical issues shortly after completing lap 1.
Cole Whitmer, racing Open A, had the lead early on but also faced a mechanical issue that resulted in a 7th place finish for him. 250 A rider, Lane Whitmer, finished 9th in class. Super Senior A rider, Shawn Remington, finished third in class this weekend and remains leading in class points. Congrats, Shawn!
